Gaia
Research provides guidance on a wide range of technical issues
concerned with construction ecology.
In collaboration with Gaia Architects we provide lectures and
specialist workshops to schools of architecture which foster
interdisciplinary & holistic design. We use a wide variety
of techniques to investigate environmental problems, inform
policy and encourage the establishment of new solution based
initiatives.
We undertake research studies to identify, appraise, validate
and consolidate contemporary information and to disseminate
it via publications, workshops, conference papers and seminars.
Gaia Research also supports SEDA's technical information service
as a practical, highly informed, member based ecological design
dissemination gateway and information exchange.
