Training & Facilitation

The experience gained as a consultant and researcher has been developed into interdisciplinary design guidance. We have recently launched Sustainable Construction CPD - a set of guidance documents on sustainable design for designers, clients and all those involved in sustainable development of the built environment. It is the most comprehensive guide to sustainable construction available.

We specialise as facilitators for clients at project inception, for brief setting and project development. We provide training and specialist workshops to design teams to foster interdisciplinary, holistic design.

We have long experience of working with community clients to set project objectives. We have developed a wide variety of fully professional techniques to encourage full participation and creative discussion in project development. They include the sustainability game and the sustainable development model. These are beneficial in community consultation where affordability, inclusion and long-term engagement are paramount.

The Childrens' EcoCity is a participatory exercise between children and adults to develop childrens' skills and views on the design of sustainable housing infrastructures. It is an invaluable tool in development issues and forms the basis for dialogue on sustainable development of the local built environment.
