General
Larger
scale European work has been undertaken by various combinations
of the Gaia International membership. The buildings opposite
are some examples and include competition winning projects involving
teams which mostly comprised British, German and Norwegian architects.
The
Bergen and Viikkii projects are still in development stage,
the Prisma and Frankfurt buildings were completed in the nineties,
whereas the Schafbrühl project by Joachim Eble was built in
the early eighties and predates the setting up of Gaia International.
The
Application of ecological design to mixed use urban development
is an increasing area of interest and activity within the Group.
