Regeneration
Study - Moorpark and Thrushcraigs, Paisley
Brief
Gaia
Planning was part of the EDAW team that carried out studies
for the Paisley Partnership on two SIP (Social Inclusion Partnership)
areas. Workshops were held with both local people who gave the
direction for the physical plans and the various agencies forming
the Paisley Partnership, both parties set out the funding and
timescale of constituent projects.
Design
The
Sustainable Development Model was derived during the process
of the study and was applied to both study areas to suggest
how they might improve their sustainability (link).
Sketch designs for environmental improvements were prepared
for Moorpark and Thrushcraigs, based on the agreed outcome of
the various workshop meetings.
