The
International Children’s Parliament
Members
of the Gaia Group have been heavily involved in the establishment
of the International Children’s Parliament, a project which
seeks to give children a voice in the issues of the day and
to encourage them to think about aspects of citizenship, sustainability
and social involvement.
Much of the efforts of the team are focused
on a number of workshops where the now Core Group of children
have gradually co-developed ideas and strategies for the parliament
in both it’s physical and organisational form
Gaia Architects have produced designs for
a possible building for the Parliament - notionally to be
sited in Edinburgh.
